Mary Paynter Sherwin
Mary Paynter Sherwin is co-founder of Ask The Sherwins, LLC, where she helps organizations develop the capabilities they need for better design and cross-functional teamwork. She has worked on multiple successful training programs and product innovation toolkits for organizations such as Philips Oral Healthcare, Eventbrite, and Google UX Community and Culture, as well as Kaiser Permanente’s i60 Innovation Toolkit with Propelland and frog’s Collective Action Toolkit. She is co-author of Turning People into Teams: Rituals and Routines that Redesign How We Work, published in 2018 by Berrett-Koehler. She has taught at California College of the Arts, St. Mary’s College, and is currently a faculty member at CIID. Mary holds a BA from Evergreen State College, a AAA in Commercial Photography from Art Institute, and an MFA in Creative Writing from St. Mary’s College of California.
