Catherine Ross is a visual + performance artist creating in new media, whose work considers the profundity of the human condition within contemporary landscapes of digital technologies, obsessive consumption, + globalization. Catherine combats estrangement from the earth, from labor, from the collective + from the self through translations of the embodied experience. her work finds form in movement, sound, video + virtual reality. Catherine lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
